About Global China Dialogue

Global China Dialogue is a series of events to enhance public understanding of current global affairs and common interests via public dialogue and discussion between Chinese and non-Chinese academics, experts, professionals and practitioners and interested laypeople, from interdisciplinary and comparative perspectives. Apart from universities, research institutions and professional think tank, we will also engage with governments of different countries and international organizations, media and publishers. Each event will have a small panel of experts, ready to put their point of view and engage in lively, fully interactive debate with all those present, in order to educate, enlighten and entertain. It aims to focus on global hot topics and hold the forum at different places in order to provide a platform for engaging China and the Chinese to participate in global governance and advance the global public good.

  • CCPN Global – a UK-based international academic society focusing on the study of China and the Chinese from a comparative perspective
  • YES Global – The Young Entrepreneur Society Global, for young entrepreneurs and future leaders to share knowledge, opportunities and resources to promote global commercial cooperation

Topics: Topics of dialogue will range from China development, education, language and culture to government and politics, migration, the family, climate change, the environment, global public health, and human security, etc.

Venues: We would like to hold our events in different places, in the UK or elsewhere in the world. The size and nature of the venue will depend on the theme and the likely size of audience.

       全球中国对话是一项系列活动,旨在从跨学科的和比较的视野,通过华人和非华人学者、专家、专业人士、从业者以及感兴趣的者们的公共对话和讨论,提高 公众对当前全球事务和共同感兴趣的话题的理解。每次活动将由一组专家,表达他们的观点和参与活动,并与在场所有参与者进行互动,寓教育和启迪于娱乐之中。 除了大专院校、研究部门和专业智库之外,全球中国对话/论坛也将与中国和其他国家政府、国际组织、媒体和出版单位等密切合作,长期跟踪全球热点话题,在世 界各国举办论坛,为中国和华人参与全球治理、推进全球公共利益等提供了一个平台。
